Warning and an old man essay

It was hard to determine his age as the life left a deep imprint on his face. He was pensively looking into the distance, and his eyes reflected either deep sadness or cool tranquility. The eyes… Once sky-blue, now they were bearing the color of pale winter mornings.

Thinking about such an impressive resemblance, the man involuntarily smiled with a corner of his mouth. The sun has already set, and first stars started to appear on the sky. It was the very time he was waiting for.

It is a tale about an old Cuban fisherman and his three-day battle with a giant Marlin. Through the use of three prominent themes; friendship, bravery, and Christianity; the “Old Man and the Sea” strives to teach important life lessons to the reader. The relationship between the old man and the boy is introduced early in the story.
